First of all you have to login to Facebook by typing your email address or phone number and your Facebook password.

2. Select Settings
3. Click General in the left column
4. Choose Manage your account then follow the steps to confirm

1. Click on the drop down menu at the top right of your Facebook page
2. Scroll down to Account settings
3. Tap on General
4. Scroll own and tap on Manage Account
5. On the screen that pops up, tap on deactivate at the right hand corner
6. On the screen that pops up, re-enter your password to proceed
7. Tap on continue
