How to delete messages, conversations or photos in Facebook Messenger: You can delete messages, conversations and photos from your inbox. Keep in mind that this won't delete them from your friend's inbox. It isn't possible to delete sent or received messages from a friend's inbox.

How to delete a message or photo on Facebook Messenger

1. Open the conversation 
2. Tap and hold the message or photo you'd like to delete 
3. Tap Delete at the bottom 

How to delete a Conversation on Facebook

Using iPhone and iPad:

• View your conversations from Home 
• Tap and hold the conversation you want to delete 
• Tap Delete 

Using Android:

• View your conversations in the Home tab 
• Tap and hold the conversation or photo 
• Tap Delete
