How To Find Archived Messages On Facebook Messenger: Do you have archived messages on Messenger you would like to restore? Don’t know how to go about it?

Well, to restore them, you have to find them first. This post serves as a guide to do just that. This guide will be segmented into two parts – one for Android device users and the other for of course, the iOS users.

1. Open the Messenger app.
2. Tap the Home icon on the top left corner, below the search bar.
3. Tap and hold a conversation to bring up a pop-up menu.
4. Select “Archive” folder.
5. Tap the blue speech bubble icon on the bottom right corner.
6. Enter the name of the recipient of your archived conversation.
7. Tap the recipient’s name.

The archived messages from the conversation will appear in the chat window.

1. Open the Messenger app.
2. Tap the Home icon on the bottom left corner.
3. Swipe left on conversation to bring out your alternatives.
4. Tap “More“. It’s the three dots aligned vertically.
5. Tap “Archive“. The conversation will be moved to the Archived folder.
6. Tap the blue icon with a cross on it to begin a new conversation.
7. Enter the name of the recipient of your archived conversation.
8. Tap on the recipient’s name.

The archived messages from the conversation appear in the chat window.
