You want to upload a picture and you mistakenly tapped on another picture, so instead of the picture you wanted, another gets uploaded in its place. That has happened to me so many times than I can care to count. Since I am like a dog with a bone when confronted with a problem, I had to fiddle with so many buttons on Facebook before I finally found out how to delete a photo from Facebook so, I decided to share this discovery with you.
Remember that you can only delete a photo you uploaded by yourself. If you want to delete a photo you were tagged in, you will have to ask the person who uploaded it to take it down.
